On Saturday several Howard’s Team members road in and completed the Solvang Century. Great job!
Today, Chris Powell ran an inspired 26.2 miles at the L.A. Marathon. Sporting Howard’s Team tattoos and dedicating his run to our original MS Champion, Tim Salmon, Chris had all the inspiration he needed to run a 3:11 and qualify for the Boston Marathon. When asked about what it meant to have Howard’s Team following him during the race, Chris said, “I felt the team with me and it was what I needed to run those last 6 miles. I couldn’t have pushed myself that hard without the team’s support.” Well done Chris! You are our inspiration.
