2022 Bike MS: Bay to Bay Awards – Howard’s Team Receives Top Honors

Last Saturday, Howard’s Team received the Top Fundraising Team honors at the 2022 Bike MS: Bay to Bay Awards Event raising $705K!

Amelia Callahan was one of the stars of the show, sharing her story of how she raised $18,000. Amelia is 13-years old, and her fundraising efforts included asking her principal for a donation, which turned into a request from all her teachers, and asking for donations instead of gifts for her Bat Mitzvah. So inspiring!

Jim Ponder received the award for Top Individual Fundraiser raising an eye popping $175K. By way of context, Jim has consistently raised over $100K for this event and serves on the board of the MS Society Pacific South Coast Chapter.

Amelia’s dad, Devin Callahan, is our new Captain for Howard’s Team Bike MS: Bay to Bay, which gives Jay McCabe and Bob Moore the opportunity to lead our team’s national expansion.

Howard’s Team gets stronger each day as we get closer to creating a world free of MS.
