Howard’s Team – Receives $150,000 Leadership Award from the Rodeki Foundation

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Howard's Team Members Jim Ponder, Team Top Fundraiser since 2015, and Dawn Beattie, MS Champion, the Rodeki Foundation decided to make a leadership award to the MS Society Pacific South Coast Chapter for $150,000 in the name of Howard's Team!  Wow!

Attached is a letter from Fiona Mackin-Jha, President of the Rodeki Foundation.  In it she talks about her mother who was diagnosed with MS shortly after she was born when there were few treatments.  She then talks about how she supported Dawn Beattie's fundraising for many years.  Finally, it was a call from Jim Ponder, that encouraged the Foundation to make the substantial donation.

The award will be paid out in $50,000 increments over the next three years.  The first increment of $50,000 was made this year.  As a result, Howard's Team is on track to raise $300,000 in 2021, a new record!
